About

Hi I'm Isaac.  I like doing and learning stuff.  I'd like to think that I am a philomath minus the geekey/nerdy  "expert" complex.  Doing stuff and being involved is what I love doing.  I may not be an expert but I can figure it out.  It may take me a while in some cases but given a chance or a quick lesson, I will become what appears to be an expert.  I am primarily an ISTP but can lean INTP about stuff if I've got enough experience behind me to thing of myself as great at something.

I do a lot of volunteering.  I will try to blog it all as I am participating in or have complete the event.  Some of the events are though the Kiwanis.  Lots more of the events are just stuff around the area that have put out calls for volunteers.  Some of those events include Art On The Square, Wine, Dine and Jazz, Paint the Town, KDHX, Midwest Salute To The Arts, St. Louis Earth DayBelleville Chili Cookoff.

I am a member of several organizations.  Includes Kiwanis, Toastmasters, USBA (IFBA by proxy), with past memberships in Circle K and IJA.  Expanded names and purpose can be found on my links page.

The list of things that I am fascinated by include: boomerangs, unicycling, juggling, knife throwing, whip cracking, card throwing (scaling), skateboarding, stilt walking, photography, programming, web site building, balloon twisting, slack rope walking, guitar playing, didgeridoo playing, volunteering, music, KDHX, circuses, clowns, and so much more.

I'm not one for saying no to trying new stuff.  There are no limits.  I'm out to try the interesting stuff that seems hard or impossible.  Impossible it self is spelled "I'm Possible!"  I'm after the things that most people don't see.  My mission is so much bigger that any specific vision.  I want to do it all, fall on my ass a few dozed times, get up, and kick ass some more.
